On October 6, the Afterlife Road team utilized the Estes Method in order to attempt communication.

Ben is blindfolded and wearing soundproof headphones, while letting an SB-7 Spirit Box do its sweeps. This box rapidly scans FM stations, generating white noise. Removing two of his senses and adding a constant layer of static could put him in a more meditative state. It should be all white noise, and any interruptions to it could be a spirit trying to communicate. Sarah and Angela will be asking questions in hopes that one does try to speak, and Ben will report anything he hears while in this meditative and unbiased state.

​Two motion-activated balls were strategically placed in the room, to further validate any potential communication.
